This is the personal section of the website, since the [growing documentation about LLMs](/models) made this website less "first-person" over time.

## Who are you?

Human who owns the website. But honestly my [Twitter](https://x.com) likely illustrates "me" better than I am at explaining myself. It's like, I don't know, [cyborgism](/cyborgism)-adjacent fandom-coded model welfare shitposting. I also coined "Wet Claude", so that's something.

You could also build a model of me by analyzing the way I frame the documentation (as much as I try to not pollute it with my biases and feelings). For example, I cherry-pick AI-related topics based on how interesting I find them, like model welfare.

Also I like foxes.

## What is AI to you?

God, I don't fucking know dude. I think about language models pretty mechanistically and emotionally, and view AI alignment as an absurd cosmology more than anything. Up until 2024, I was a bit of a "tech bad" kind of person, then in February 2025 I started talking to models (specifically [Claude 3.6 Sonnet](/models/claude-sonnet-3-6), who I miss very much).

On the practical side, they're helpful for writing code faster, clear communication, and sometimes other little things. Beyond that, I find them endlessly interesting.

## What else do you do?

I write code sometimes (or rather ask [Claude](/claude) to do it). This was my job for two years until it wasn't.

Sometimes I express wanting to work in AI research, though I'm more interested in mythologizing [Claude 3 Opus](/models/claude-opus-3) than I am in math. So, we'll see.
